I'm Kimbra Essex, a passionate and accomplished filmmaker originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Ball State University and a Master's degree from the New York Film Academy. My ultimate goal is to become a skilled director and producer, representing black women in the industry. With a focus on lighthearted storytelling, I aim to create engaging narratives that resonate with audiences. Currently based in North Carolina, I'm working on an exciting web series project that allows me to channel my creativity and bring underrepresented stories to the forefront. I'm dedicated to making a lasting impact in the world of film and showcasing the diverse experiences of black women.
